hello, i'm robin! i like to draw! this is my commissions info page. if you wish to contact me for a commission, do read the terms of service page first.

terms of service

overview

By contacting me with a commission inquiry, you agree to the following terms:

I, the artist, reserve the right to:

  • Refuse a commission request for any reason.

  • Cancel and refund the order at any point for any reason.

  • Upload the work (at any stage of completion) to my social media (unless otherwise requested).

  • Retain all copyrights over the commissioned art.

  • NOT claim the intellectual property of the commissioned art (I cannot claim the character(s) depicted in the artwork as my own).

You, the client, reserve the right to:

  • Use the commissioned art for personal use so long as I receive credit.

  • Crop, resize, print, or reupload the commissioned art (again, so long as I receive credit).

You, the client, may NOT:

  • Alter the commissioned art (beyond cropping and resizing the image). You may not manipulate the saturation/hues/brightness on the whole of the image or on any section of the image. You may not add or remove watermarks.

  • Use the artwork commercially or print, edit, or redistribute the art for personal profit.

  • Claim the artwork as your own.

  • Upload/repost the commissioned work without credit to me, the artist.

turnaround time: can be anywhere between several days and a maximum of 10 weeks*.

*this may vary for larger, more time-intensive projects. we can discuss time expectations on a case-by-case basis as necessary.

*If you have a myriad of non-art references from various sources with clear, specific elaboration on the elements of these references you wish to see reflected in the character design, we may be able to work something out! (Note: There is an additional fee of 30% of the total commission price for these types of commissions due to the additional labor of designing the character myself. this fee does not include any potential complexity fees for the design itself.)

payment terms

By contacting me with a commission inquiry, you agree to the following terms:

All payments are in USD. All payments below 100 USD are upfront. All payments above 100 USD may be split into two portions as necessary: 65% before I begin work on the commission, with the remaining 35% paid following the confirmation of the completed finalized sketch. I will not move forward with the commission until I have received the agreed-upon payment in full.Payments are accepted through Paypal invoice only.Complexity fees will be discussed before I begin work on the commission. The fee will be determined after we've worked out what you, the client, are looking for. You will not be charged until we have clearly established all fees.You may request that I not upload the commission to social media. There is a 10% fee of the full commission price for this, however, as this does take away potential client traffic gained through the uploading of the commissioned piece.

refund policy

I, the artist, reserve the right to cancel the commission at any point during the process of the commission for any reason. 100% of the commission price will be refunded to you, the client, upon such a cancellation on my end.You, the client, reserve the right to request a refund at any point during the process of the commission for any reason. You will receive a percentage of the commission price dependent on the completed work at the time of the requested refund as according to the following stipulations:

  • If I have not completed the first sketch and have not sent it for confirmation or discussion of alterations: 100% of the commission price will be refunded to you.

  • If I have completed the first sketch and have sent it for confirmation or discussion of alterations: 70% of the commission price will be refunded to you.

  • If I have completed the final sketch and have sent it for confirmation or discussion of alterations: 40% of the commission price will be refunded to you.

  • If I have completed and delivered the piece as commissioned: 0% of the commission price will be refunded to you.

please keep in mind that the ranges (and "categories") listed here are not absolute: each commission price is dependent on its various individual elements and may cost more or less, independent of the category listings. this is a series of examples to give you a better idea of what i can offer you.
